John Chamberlain
John Chamberlain currently serves as the President of AFCD. He was raised in a military family and on his mother's side, his family has been involved in Florida agriculture in the southwest Florida Sarasota area for several generations. He worked as a professor of agricultural communication at the University of Florida for many years. Following early retirement he then started teaching at Santa Fe College in Gainesville and part time at St Petersburg College in St Petersburg. He has homes in Gainesville and on Anna Maria Island where his two children and their families live. John is a member of the Alachua Conservation District Board of Supervisors.
